● To be considered for NHS membership, according to the Gruver chapter by-laws,
a student must apply and qualify with a cumulative GPA of 90.0.
● According to the Gruver NHS by-laws, students must maintain a cumulative GPA
of 85.0 (or 3.7) in order to remain in good standing with the Gruver chapter.
● Students are eligible to run for office after one full year of membership in the
Gruver NHS chapter.

● If an NHS student fails a subject at the end of a six-week period, he or she will be
put on probation and must maintain an 80 average the following six weeks.
